Matthias Heyn was already a speaker at MedTranslate 2014 as medical translation is one of his key fields. He is joining us for this 2025 edition with a session on “Translation in a regulated legal context involving expert reviewers in the process“:

In regulated legal contexts, the accuracy and precision of translations are critical, often carrying significant legal and financial consequences. This presentation explores how involving expert reviewers—specialists in both legal subject matter and language—enhances the quality and reliability of translations. We will discuss best practices for integrating expert reviewers into translation workflows, use of connecting AI capabilities, and what work interfaces are suitable for gathering expert feedback. Practical examples will illustrate how expert involvement can mitigate risks and ensure translations meet stringent legal and regulatory standards.
