Translation at the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare
We are happy to announce a new speaker! Meet Cécile Gautier, scientific translator at the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM)/Council of Europe in Strasbourg. She will present at MedTranslate 2025 to share her experience and offer us some insights into the EDQM, what they do, and how they work (www.edqm.eu).
Cécile Gautier graduated from the University of Lille (France) in 2008 and worked as a localisation project manager in Madrid before embarking on a freelance translation career in March 2009. Based first in Lille and, later, Paris, Cécile specialised in medicine and international development, working from English and Spanish to French, before moving east in February 2016 to join the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM)/Council of Europe in Strasbourg as a scientific translator. A former member of the SFT, ITI and ASETRAD, Cécile enjoys networking and talking about what she does and loves.
Thank you Cécile for your time and your support of the conference!
